I really do not like running an OS that’s even one release behind. This is kind of a bummer because the LTS versions of Ubuntu Linux are only released every 2 years. For Ubuntu, my distro of choice, VMware only offers the packages for the LTS versions of the popular OS. However, it’s a bit of a strange release strategy. I know very little about all this but when tailing the radius log I didn't like seeing my domain password!įri Apr 10 00:38:04 2020 : Auth: (59) Login OK: (from client port 1)įri Apr 10 00:44:37 2020 : Auth: (73) Login OK: (from client you’re a Linux user, you will be happy to know that VMware offers a Linux version of it’s Horizon View client. I see in your example you are doing Google Auth Token+Password. I'm on Horizon 7.10 and have noticed that I can enter my username and the Google Auth token on the first logon screen, then on the second logon screen just my domain password. Not sure if it's just me but if I modify anything in the "Manage Authenticators" I seem to lose the shared secret so have been bashing it back in each time. Resolved by running "ln -sf /etc/freeradius/3.0/mods-available/pam /etc/freeradius/3.0/mods-enabled/pam" etc/freeradius/3.0/sites-enabled/default: Failed to find "pam" as a module Using "journalctl -xe" or "freeradius -X" got the error: I'm running Ubuntu server 18.04.4 and had followed older instructions but hadn't managed to get the freeradius service to restart "service freeradius restart".
